The term "metacrisis is used by different people to mean different things.  The definition I have adopted is this one:

"The metacrisis is the underlying crisis driving a multitude of crises."

In other words, the metacrisis is driving the polycrisis.  For my work, I believe the current metacrisis to be the Value Crisis.
